Car Problems (and a new friend) Part 1

It all started on our way home from the Fall Getaway. We were about an hour from home (Lee's Summit, MO) when something popped under the hood of our Dodge Stratus and the car started shaking. I opened the hood and noticed one of the spark plug wires laying on top of the engine. After about 10 or 15 minutes, someone pulled over and told me exactly what the problem was and how to fix it, but he didn't have the necessary tools with him. So, he gave us a ride back to Edwardsville, about 20 minutes from Lawrence where Lauren Kish (who is on staff with us) picked us up and took us back to our apartment.

It was encouraging to us that he (Rob is his name) pulled over to help us out. While riding in his truck with him, we were telling him about our Fall Getaway and told him that we work with Campus Crusade for Christ. When he heard that he said, "I came to Christ through Crusade." He explained to us that he is originally from Wisconsin and the first time he ever heard the gospel was in college. He is now taking seminary courses and planning on moving back to Wisconsin with his wife to plant a church there. It was so much fun to hear his story and to be encouraged by him through a frustrating time.
