Athletes Cookout

One of the big highlights for me this semester has been the opportunity to begin working in the athletic department at UNO. The doors of the athletic department are wide open for us to be there and minister to student-athletes. 

With finals only a week away, we invited the athletes who have been involved in my Bible study to our house for a cookout (and any of their teammates). We had a group of about ten out to our house, including four who I had never met. It was a great time interacting and eating good food together.

I really enjoy the opportunity to have students into our home so they can get to know and interact with Alicia and they boys. 

I didn't get many good pictures, but here is one of the hangout. And below is Jack in desperate need of a bath following a great time playing with his "new friends". He had a blast!
