In past semesters, our staff team has hosted a once a month training and vision night for our student leaders. Those times have been good in many ways but haven't quite accomplished the vision we had of gathering the majority of our student leaders representing multiple campuses from around the city. So, we made some changes to how that time will look throughout this semester.
Last night we held a training and vision night, which will be the only one this semester. The night included dinner, a time of praise & worship, vision casting for our ministry, and breakout groups to provide more specific training for how students will be leading.
Two more times throughout the semester we will meet with each of the three breakout groups at separate times for more specific training and development in their area of leadership.
Having students from multiple campuses there brought a lot of excitement. It was great for the students to see other student leaders from around the city who are seeking to serve and lead in the same ways they are.
