Transition

We are beginning the final week of our time here at the Disney Summer Project. But, as we leave, the project is not ending. At the end of this week when our staff team leaves, the entire leadership of the project will be turned over to the students, who will continue the project through August 5th. This is the norm for every summer project, and typically this is when things really begin to happen, because the students truly take ownership.

We have been encouraged at the way students have been engaging their co-workers at Disney. Just the other night I went to a dessert that they organized to invite their friends and co-workers to. Every few minutes one of our students walked through the door with another 2-4 friends with them. In about 10 minutes I talked to a student from Italy, China, and Ohio. It is pretty fun to see people from all over the world gather in one place.

Please pray for the students as they take steps of faith throughout this summer and for a safe drive as we travel home next weekend.
