We decided to have an at home date night on Friday. Normally we eat very early, while trying to keep Jack entertained. But, on Friday our schedule consisted of an appetizer, then an evening walk with Jack, and dinner after we put him to bed. We made citrus-pesto salmon, asparagus, and rice (followed by chocolate chip cookies, of course).
I LOVE taking pictures of food.
Saturday we spent the afternoon in Kansas City, highlighted by temps in the mid-70s and a trip to Chick-fil-a! We had so much fun and Jack really seemed to enjoy himself.
Of course, the fun was just beginning. We came home just in time to watch Nebraska beat Oklahoma!
After eating, Jack always climbs up on the couch to get my attention.

We just did at home date night the other night too! It's a great idea and you don't have to pay for babysitters! Jack is so cute. Every time you post them I think he is so cute!
We're going to be doing more of the "at-home" date nights too. :) Much easier with the kiddos! The pictures of Jack are adorable!!! Can't wait to see him soon!
