Last Friday we had our annual Fall Getaway in Salina, KS. The weekend ran from Friday - Sunday and we had about 65 students attend. We were not sure if we should take Jack or not, but we are so glad we did. It was great being there as a family and Jack did great! Of course, the students loved seeing him and he LOVED being the center of attention.
It was fun to connect with the students there in a "retreat" style setting, and to see so many new faces, which is always good. The students had a lot of fun and were really challenged in different ways. We had a speaker come in from our Regional Headquarters in Boulder, and he did a great job of connecting with the students and challenging them to be more than just a "circle" or "huddle" of Christians.

Thankful for the nice weather since Jack LOVES the outdoors.
Some of the students at breakfast.
A few of the guys preparing to serve breakfast to the ladies.

Matt (Senior at KU) and I manned the grill.
Bert Robinson was our speaker for the weekend.
Jack is slowly starting to tolerate his car seat... we hope.
