Alicia's family came to visit us in Fort Collins this weekend. On Saturday we made the short one hour drive to Estes Park. Once we were in the mountains, we were a little hesitant with how Jack would do, so we told her family to go on ahead without us. After they left, we decided to just give it a try anyway, and Jack did great! He seemed to enjoy the cool temperature and even slept most of the time. Of course Jack had no idea what we were doing, but Alicia and I had a blast hiking and taking pictures.

We were so glad to have someone take a family picture for us.
We hiked around Bear Lake and Alicia took some great pictures. Too bad the clouds are covering the higher peaks.
After hiking around Bear Lake we hiked up to Alberta Falls. We knew it was a risk to add so much time to the hike - we kept wondering if Jack would break down. He did wake up and we got rained on a little bit, but he was just so chill the whole time.
Long day for the little guy. Almost as if he did the hiking.
Of course our first stop in Estes Park was this Husker store!
We had so much fun with Alicia's family and were sad to see them leave Sunday morning. It was a great break for us to have family around.
I will get back into the swing of things Monday morning with 2 more classes - Biblical Communication and God, Bible, Holy Spirit. My first 2 classes ended on Friday.

Isn't it great when they take a pacifier? So glad he was chilled out and enjoyed being outside. Here's to the many hiking trips that lay ahead for your family!
oh, this was awesome! We were in all those exact places last year at the end of June! I recognized all the camera shots! Bear Lake. Alberta Falls. How fun! Oh, I miss Colorado!!!!
WOW....sooo glad you guys had a good time! Thank goodness for pacifiers and Baby Bjorn carriers!!! The pictures are gorgeous.
