One of the tools we used in New York City and on campus at KU is called "Soularium". Below is an explanation of what this tool looks like.

How Soularium Works
Using 50 photographic images and 5 simple questions, this new tool for evangelism allows a person to engage in spiritual dialogue.
Some of the Questions
- Which image would you choose to describe God?
- Think about your life so far. Which image best describes what you've experienced spiritually?
- When you think about your spiritual life or journey, which image best represents what you wish were true?
How to Use Soularium
Show the cards to someone. Ask them to answer a few questions (examples above) by picking 3 images that represent their beliefs or feelings. Watch the questions easily lead into a spiritual conversation. Listen to their answers. Ask them if you can explain more about your journey with God.
Benefits of Using Soularium
- Engage people spiritually in a new and creative context.
- Ask the questions that come provided for you.
- Use with a stranger, in a Bible study or with a friend.
- Connect with the post-modern generation (and other ages as well).
- Visit Mysoularium.com, a companion Web site, that gives another opportunity for participants to explore spiritual issues.
