More on the Denver Christmas Conference

Alicia and I are so excited for the upcoming Denver Christmas Conference. We had the opportunity to attend the conference as students and look forward to our involvement as staff. We will be involved in some random, but much needed jobs including registration, the book store, child care for the Campus Crusade staff kids, and security of the meeting room. We are also looking forward to meeting some of the students involved in the ministry from the University of Kansas.

FEATURED SPEAKERS:
BRYAN LORITTS
Bryan is the Lead Pastor of Fellowship Bible Church in Memphis, Tennessee- a multicultural church ministering to the evolving community of urban Memphis. Bryan also is an adjunct professor at Crichton College, teaching in their Bible and Theology department. In addition to serving the community of Memphis, Bryan’s ministry takes him across the country as he speaks to thousands annually at churches, conferences and retreats. He is also the author of the book God on Paper; as well as a contributing author for the book entitled Great Preaching.
DARRYL SMITH Darryl Smith was born and raised in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He graduated from Kirkman High School in 1983 and served in the US Army for three years. God saved him while Darryl was in prison for dealing drugs. He was licensed to preach in 1992 and ordained in 1994. He has been on staff with Campus Crusade for Christ for ten years, working with high school students at Howard High School in Chattanooga. For the last six years he has also served as Chattanooga’s City Director, and the Southeast Regional Director for three years. In the summer of 2006, Campus Crusade chose Darryl as the new National Director for Student Venture.
MIKE HALEY
The insight Mike Haley offers young people into the causes and treatment of homosexuality comes from his own experience as a gay teen and young adult. Since 1992, Mike has shared that insight in interviews with national and local media and through documentary videos such as Reaching into the Closet and A Journey Out, in which he discusses his own path out of homosexuality. Mike earned a degree in Christian education from Biola University in 1987, and currently is serving as a youth and gender analyst for Focus on the Family. His duties include helping coordinate and speaking at the ministry’s Love Won Out conferences, which offer accurate information on the causes and prevention of homosexuality.
